Minhas Mohamed is President, Chief Executive Officer and Co‑Founder of MMV Financial Inc. which is a specialty finance company providing debt financing to emerging technology and life sciences companies across North America. Mr. Mohamed was also the founder and Managing Partner of MM Venture Partners predecessor firm. Since its inception in 1998 MMV and the predecessor firm have invested over US$400 million in 200+ companies across North America. Mr. Mohamed has overall management and strategic responsibility for MMV Financial. He has over 25 years of experience in the financing of technology and emerging growth companies, both in Canada and internationally. Prior to founding MM Venture Partners in August 1998 Mr. Mohamed spent 10 years as a senior partner and shareholder with Quorum Funding Corporation, one of Canada’s leading technology‑focused venture capital funds. Prior to Quorum, he spent several years at the venture capital subsidiary of Schroders PLC, and was also with Ernst & Young where he obtained his Chartered Accountant designation.
