Dajun Yang is co founder and has served as Ascentage Pharma Group International's Chief Executive Officer since 2009 and as Chairman and a member of Ascentage Pharma Group International's board of directors since 2017. Prior to co founding Ascentage Pharma Group International's Company, Dr. Yang co founded Ascenta Therapeutics, Inc., where he was a Senior Vice President of Research and Preclinical Development between 2004 and 2008. Prior to that, Dr. Yang was a part time professor and supervisor of doctoral students at the Cancer Center at Sun Yat sen University from 2003 to 2006 and an Associate Professor of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, an Associate Professor of Oncology and Senior Investigator at the Lombardi Cancer Center at Georgetown University from 1995 to 2001. Dr. Yang is also a co founder of two national magazines in China, "Chinese Medical Students" and "Family Doctors."
