Since April 2025, Dr. Johnson has served as a general partner of Catalyzer Ventur Partners, a venture capital firm investing in growth stage private companies focused on the digital transformation of energy, infrastructure and industrial systems. Since May 2023, Dr. Johnson has also served as General Manager of Johnson Energy Holdings, LLC, a consulting and investment company. From September 2020 to May 2023, Dr. Johnson served as President at The Ohio State University. From September 2017 to August 2020, Dr. Johnson served as Chancellor of The State University of New York.
