From June 2005 to September 2008, he held the dual role of Greater China R&D Site Controller and Internal Audit Team Leader at Advanced Micro Devices, where he led global internal audit reviews, ensured SOX 404 compliance, and co developed the company's enterprise risk management framework.Mr. Tay began his professional journey as Finance and Internal Audit Manager at Ricoh Asia Pacific Pte Ltd from July 2003 to June 2005, where he led the regional internal audit function for the entire Asia Pacific region excluding China and Japan and oversaw the implementation of J SOX compliance across the Asia Pacific region.Mr. Tay holds a Master of Business Administration from Warwick Business School and a Bachelor of Business in Accountancy from RMIT University. He is a Fellow of CPA Australia and the Istitute of Singapore Chartered Accountants, and holds multiple professional certifications including Certified Management Accountant, Certified Financial Manager, Certified Internal Auditor, Certified Information Systems Auditor, Certified Fraud Examiner, Certified in Strategy and Competitive Analysis and Certified Real Estate Salesperson.
